Beantown, Skip Bennington, Maine, Sunday River, and Rog and Ray

Well that title says it all. Although i'm sure your thinking jordan k, what is this craziness you speak of?

Have no fear my friends. What a busy weekend it was. Busy week of service and such friday night watched Mean Girls with King nick. Saturday slept in, because well i'm a very lazy human being. Saturday night Tk came up from Jersey with his friend Simon. We headed up to Boston actually it was Somerville for a fabulous gathering of sorts. (aka a good ol fashion house party) It was really cool because it was in this old Church downtown that they are converting into condos. How cool is that? It was an island party, which is funny in itself. I went dressed as a Rhode Islander (hey I thought it was funny) People got really into it. Saw some peeps from boston that I haven't seen in a while which was great. Including Skip Bennington, Yacht enthusiasts, and cleaning entrepreneur. He summer's in the Cape. Salsa danced, played pool, what have u. Then I stayed with some Haitian Chicks who were awesome, and after having no lie -4 hrs sleep we got up for morning meeting. With Co of course of course. Then lunch in Harvard square and off to Maine to see the fam.

So I have relatives in Maine, we drove up there sunday afternoon. We stayed with them, they had some people over for a dinner party. Then they have a movie theatre, in there garage. They install home theatre systems for a living so they had one of the best demo setups i've seen. (and i'm a big nerd) Watched a movie and then went to bed.

Monday went to Sunday River !! It was the last day of the season so it was free lift ticket day! Normally $40-50. I did about 3 runs before I fell and go the wind knocked out of me SHOCKER But I was determined, I caught my breath did a couple of more runs, then fell again, this time harder and got the wind knocked out of me again! If you've never had that happen to you, phew, its scary. The conditions were slushy so when you would try to stop it was hard to carve. So when I fell I went down and just slid (thank jah for my helmet) And when you stop and try to catch your breath and can't breath....horrible feeling. So I went back to the lodge to eat/rest up. While there there was a two guys playing music Rog and Ray. They were a Jimmy Buffett style band. They played guitars, bass, pianos, everything. Well they had congas setup and they called people out of the audience to play. They had me go up, and they liked me a lot lol. So I played the first set, then they called me again and played the second set ! HA. It was fun I heart playing and it was good times, they gave me a shaker egg. (whoooo hooooo)

Rocking out in Snow Gear!

Left Sunday River and my concert debut. Brought Anthony home, then headed home. It was a quick trip which was nice. Spent tuesday recovering and catching up. So that was it what a weekend. Yesterday wednesday had band practice with a new kinda of sort of band it was fabulous. So that's it, im off for now. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Quick one for ya'll

Two weeks since last posting, yet nothing exciting.

Sorry. So let's see, nothing really. My weeks have been so full lately that the weekends I've just been staying local. Last weekend, bartending on friday and saturday went over the fluff's had dinner and hung out. Then watched what about bob. mmmmmm, love that movie. Sunday I was inspired by the WT so I went for a hike with some peeps from my hall. Well, I met them their. They failed to mention that there were 2 paths, they went to the right. Well stupid me, I followed Reba and went left. 1.5 miles later, (most of which was ran) I realized that I was on the wrong path. Two hiker's who said No ones here, confirmed this. So went back down to the begginning and started on the 2nd trail. Why do I do this to myself? After that went to hoptown, then passed out from exhaustion lol.

The memorial was this week. Always exciting. 246 people came! I know. It was a packed house. Service was really good this week. I think the weather and the memorial season always puts everyone in a good mood. So hollar at that.

Last night, Friday, watched Mean Girls with NK. Great Flix. Now i'm home cleaning and packing. I'm going to a party tonight in Beantown, then going to Maine. yes i'm crazy It's the last day of the season for Sunday River, so it's ride all day free and BBQ. So i'm sleeping up in Maine and boarding all day monday! So pscyhed for Spring Boarding! And I have a helmet now, so I don't think their will be any concussions but if there is, I know who to call....K 2 the lee just passed her state board's. So congratulations to K 2 the lee, RN.

In other news, the Kittrick's household has come down with a pandemic of cold nastiness. Mainly just my rent's. So i've been taking airborne like it's my job. Stuff tastes pretty good, but I doubt it works. Let's hope that it misses me.
Here's to you airborne, and everyone have a fabulous weekend !

New Jersey....Only the strong survive

Yeah so I know this was last weekend. But whatever i'm a little behind as always.

I left friday night to go down to New Jersey, Jersey City to be exact. I went down to see my bro and to see the Stanley theatre because well I never have. OMG ! This place is fantastic. Brief history hmm. Well it was built in the 1930's (warning my memory is shot, so do not quote any of this) It was used to have play's and even some movies. So it has amazing wall paintings, crystal chandeliers, fountains, the whole 9. So eventually the building got very run down and was just left to be. Well it was bought by the Society in the 1980's and completely restored, looking even better then before. It now holds 5,000 people and used for assembly's.

Enough history. So I took a short tour friday, then headed a block over to stay with Lady Parada. Yes thats her name . Saturday was work weekend. Over 400 volunteers from Jersey and New York Rbc's came to help. I was put on my excellent crew of sound. With two brothers who I have named sparky and short circuit. It felt just like home with Richy Jar. So it was cool because I got to see the entire in and out of the theatre, and got to fix some stuff. At the end of the day the "stanley" family as I call them, which were the caretakers and some locals all had dinner together. It was really cool, tons of food, beverages, and then we played mafia. haha good stuff Then Danny came to visit the theatre, at like 9 and cut Reem and I hair. i'm cute Then I brought home danny, and stupid me I left the keys to lady's apartment at the theatre. Well it was 2 in the morning and the theatre was closed and all the caretakers were asleep. What do u do? Go to the theatre wake everyone up, call the super, or sleep in the car? Well we decided to go to Lady's parents house down the road, but when we went to open the door it was still locked and we woke her Columbian Mama-seetah up. OI DIOS MIO, QUE PASO, QUE PASO ha that was a good laugh.

Sunday after only a few hours of sleep. We went to spanish meeting. Moi bien. Then went back to theatre for WT study and experiences. On sunday there were 500 volunteers. Then we had lunch together. After, went to Lady's and took a coma aka a super super long nap. Woke up, went back to the theatre said my goodbyes, and headed to Holobokyn. It's this cool little town right on the water on the other side of Manhatten. That's where I took the pics. Went to a thai restaurant with Tk, Pk, and my african uncle ben. I should know my lesson not to eat ethnic food before a long car road , oh well. All and all a spectacular weekend. Jersey has not see the last of me. We didn't have time to do anything in NYC, even though it's less then 15 min away, so that's the next adventure. StAy tUnEd.....

Oh and this week we had the Co for half the week. And then Sub Co for the other half. So ive been super busy with all that good stuff. Dat's it.
