Such A Cold December...

New England is crazy!

As far as the weather at least, I have no excuse for the people. And yes I know, it's not December. It's a song I was listening to by Matt Costa, but it describes New England to a T. We go from almost 70F in January, straight to 18F. It really is amazing. I'll will miss you jacketless day's, no tights, no socks, no shorts under my skirts in service *sigh*. So wow a month without blogging, i'm sure something interesting must have happened...no it didn't.

After the wedding extravaganza, everything pretty much went back to normal. Took a day and a half to sleep, no lie monday Januaray 8th I slept a good 13 hours, dang. A lot of service and work as normal. Saturday Jan 20th went snowboarding for the first time this year at Wah Wah. I heart night boarding. But omg, it was so cold. We checked, at the top of the peak it was -10F. I had so many layers on, when you go on the lift they were making snow disaster! I had to hold my hands over my face, thank goodness you had snot to keep you warm. eww but true.

Vajj was busting out her new skill on the mt. I have to be honest, I left her on the mountain. I'm Sorry ! Call me selfish, but if you were that cold and you had to keep stopping for someone, it's every women for themselves. Plus that's why we have boyfriends..lol. Then went to the lodge to drink hott ta-tes, and listened to this really cool reggae band called " Roots of Creation" really impressed with that. Sunday the 21st I went to Bedford with vajj and K. That place is like little Portugal, but fun nonetheless. Watched the Pats Game with Jeremy and ate lots of pasta. Then went over mel's for a bit, then came home and had a sleepover, hahah.

On January 27th, there was a house warming for the Huckstables. I had been staying at there house while they were in Mexico. They got new curtains, which I know is cheesy but very exciting. They had a sheet. And it wasn't even a nice sheet, it was a sheet held up by thumb tacks. The next day went to a jewelry thing at Aphten's then out to Flaco's for diarrhea and drinks, I mean dinner, whoops my mistake?

In the mean time, Joe K left to go visit Tk in Asia, he was gone for 2 weeks. It was sad to have him gone for so long. But a special chance for cheryl k and I to bond? Actually we kinda did. I know I know what your thinking. But it was nice we had dinner together every night. Which is always ok in my book. For those of you who don't know, and again why are you reading this but.., My brother tom moved to Batam, Indonesia. And my father and him just co-signed a lease on a 3 bedroom-2 bath, condo on Batam. (batam is an island bordering singapore and malaysia). My dad went to see Tom and check out the condo, and they went to a Special Assembly in Jakarta, which at the same time was going through massive flooding. It's always an excellent feeling to turn on CNN and see "More Flooding in Jakarta" 2,000 people die. No ok, that was an exaggeration, I think actually very few causality's. But to know that your family is over-seas in a situation like that, well not cool. But anyways, hes back safe and sound. He brought me back gifts too, including "Dream Girls" on dvd. Gotta love asian technology ! I'll post some pictures of the condo, if I ever find them.

Superbowl was Sunday January 4th. Although as usual I would have rather watched the Puppy Bowl, and yes I did. Went over PP tights. Played guitar and ate more food then should be consumed in one sitting. Then stayed up ridiculously late to play wii and dance to excellent hip hop music. And to those of you wondering, Yes Gilda did bust out the butterfly Pancho', man I wish I had a pic of that.

The week of the 5th-11th we had Co's visit. It's always a good time to be around. Great talk's, Great Service support? Well you know. I went over nonnie's on Thursday and had lunch with them, it's always funny hearing about the "old day's" you know before electricity and trains. Friday night I went up to NoHo to see Jonasty and Mcgurn play at some Dive. It was a fun time. They both played excellent, and for 3 hours, whoa. It was nice seeing all that group, it has been a while indeed. Then stayed at the Jonas and Vee B&B, that place is really neat. And I shared a bed with Aud who insisted we sleep head to toe haha, I think that was the best part of the day. Woke up early on saturday drove back home to make in time from our pioneer meeting at 12:15. I'm so happy I made it back for it. It was one of the best i've been too, and it's always nice to get his viewpoint on things going on.

Sunday last day. I'm gonna miss you crispycream. See you next visit. After the meeting went ice skateing. Ohh so fun. Till I fell and broke myself. I gotta get used to my new skates. Jasamine was hysterical. She has little kids size K12 skates. Instead she just ran across the ice on boots and her giant snow suit. Very funny. After, the hazerdous family and I went to Bail village. Mmm.
So that's over a month of Jordan k' goodness. Enjoy. And I promise never again this long without posting, scout's honor.
