Tis the Season to be sick...or on vacation

That seems to be the current trend.

I just got home from the meeting in which their was about 45 people there. Ok so maybe I am exaggerating, but i'm close. Seems like most people these days are either sick or on vacation. Unfortunately i'm part of the latter group. I've had this stupid cold thing for a week, it's finally leaving my body (thankfully). I've had a steady diet of Dayquil then Nyquil. My mom is telling me to stop taking it, but for some reason I can't. I don't have an addiction, I can quit anytime. I can. Look i'm stopping now.

So that's it. I know not very exciting. I just wanted to update, because I know its been a while. And I don't even have anything exciting to say, because I've been home, so, so sorry sir. This weekend should be good, i'm going to a wedding in Cambridge (beantown), which I think i'm guest/bartender. And were staying at a hotel so good times will be had, i'll report when I return. So now i'll leave you with a joke.
Have a good weekend...

A salesman is driving toward home in Arizona when he sees a Navajo man hitchhiking. Because the trip had been long, he stops the car and the Navajo man climbs in.

During their small talk, the Navajo man glances surreptitiously at a brown bag on the front seat between them.

"If you're wondering what's in the bag," offers the salesman, "it's a bottle of wine. I got it for my wife."

The Navajo man is silent for awhile, nods several times and says, "Good trade."

Swing Dancing...Mike Rotch...and a very Super Bowl

What a weekend !

Friday was the first friday of the month which means, swing dancing in hartford. I went with the fluffetts and my (date) or (cousin) whichever suits you Caleb. We managed to get there and not get lost. It was amazing esp cause it was my job to naviagate, and I had no idea where we were or what was going on. Swing was lots of fun. Saw a lot of peeps I hadn't seen in a while, like springfield and Tiverton kids. Here's some pics(i'm not in any of them, excellent). Afterwards most everyone went to Brazas a salsa club. But we just went home and of course it Wendy's first. Causing Fluffy to go into a panic of what to order haha.

Saturday, oh sweet sweet saturday. Well I was supposed to go out in service, but that didn't happen. So I slept in and went to a baby shower for Bethany. It was at the vfw in preston. I took the wrong exit and ended up in nowheresville Ct hoooray. Got there talked to Debro, and the girls and had some snacks. Then I was outta there and off to Corto's. Waited for Al, brianna, and tights to come over. Went to Go Fish, which I def need to stop going there, because I go there at least once a week. Went back to Corto's after, which is where the fun began. This is all i'm going to say. Our friend Summer* has been talking online with a mystery boy name Mike Rotch (haha). Well Mike called her on saturday night, and proceded to talk to her on and off until 3 am. Quote of the evening "If summer doesn't meet me at the 50's diner I swear, bodies will hit the floor". All and all one of the funniest nights umm on this planet? lol.

Super Bowl Sunday ! And I didnt even know who was playing. Went to Fluffys, Liz came with me, which was cool and some other kids were there. Played about 234234 games of pool. And I actually won a couple, cause we played teams. Listened to music, I danced, and then watched Vermont footage. By the end of the night me and Liz wrestled, I dont know why. I was winning, (i think) until she put my arm completely behind my back and shoulder, causing me to scream and lose feeling in my arm. I got her back next round when she tryed to body slam me and instead, slammed herself onto a hard wood floor. So that was it. It's thurday now, i'm home with a cold,(so mad at you brianna for giving it me). But getting better hopeing to be back out in service and hopefully snowboarding this weekend.

*some names have been changed to protect the naive.

If You Thought American Idol Was Bad...

So American Idol is back on.

I've been sucked into it, no thanks to my mother. But i've been trying too avoid it at all costs. And I can say i'm one week free of AI and it feels good. (oh how i miss sweet sweet Randy).I thought you all would find this interesting. Apparently the U.S. has spawned other Idol shows ripping off American Idol. I've heard of things like Australian Idol or Canadian Idol, which lets face it Canadians are americans and australians attractive americans. But then there were so not so good ideas, like Indian Idol or the popular Indonesian Idol. Ha yeah I had quite the giggle over all this too.

Other then that its a new month. I was happy to finish off my service time for January(hooray for me). Which is what i'm supposed to do anyways, but it's been a tough month weather wise, so I was happy. And got some new snowboard stuff so hopefully some boarding soon. Thats all for now.

Note: It has been neither confirmed, nor denyed that Tommy K has entered Indonesian Idol competition. Stayed tuned...
