My Dear Friend Stanley and 2007 ,The Year of Jordan K

Hollar at 2007 !

But first, this is gonna be a quicky cause holy deuce, tomorrow kayleigh's getting married so I gotta head up to the rehersal dinner in prov.

The weekend of Dec 16th, I went down to Jersey City to work at the Stanley Theatre. They have special work weekends scheduled a couple of times a year. So I joined the ever growing crew of sound. Headed up by Sparky and his brother Short Circuit lol. Actually Fred and his brother Henry, good guys. But when I went on saturday they were busy on another project, so I worked on cooper crew headed up by Janet. Oh Janet. So I went down to NJ with the King family, and we stayed with Janet and her husband. Janet is the most interesting lady i've met to date. She is a newly apointed italian citizen working as a tour guide here. The crazy thing, Janet is legally blind. But you would never know this. She knows her house and the Stanley theatre, better then I know my bedroom.


So Janet still gives tour's of the theatre, even though well, yeah. So working with on her copper crew was fun. Although very tireing, you basically sit for 5 hours polishing this tiny tiny area of copper, trying to make it shine with a toothbrush. At the end of the day, you can see a difference. Saturday night, I went to bed at 5:30 cause I was so tired from being useless.


Sunday returned to sound crew. Me and my amiga rewired the tv's for the elderly that were in poor shape. The funny thing is when she asked me how I knew all this stuff, and I explained that I was a closet nerd, and that if she told anyone I would dump her in the east river. Watchtower study on sunday was awesome. 350 people were there. I even got to comment ! And the food, (the real reason I go) was awesome. After we went to a diner for dinner and then came home. The next day I got up for service, even though exausted as ever from running up 9 flights of theatre stairs. And oh man it was amazing, I placed 1 book, 1 brouchure, 2 mags, and a tracts in 20 minutes. I know bragging is bad, but it was such a boost and a fabulous ending to a great weekend.

The next weekend was the annual Sugarbush, Vt trip over chirstmas. But I didn't go. Why? Well there is a nasty bug going around, And around 1 am on wed, I got it, and well without details, I no longer eat egg salad. So I missed the trip, stayed home and caught up on top model, and The Deul. Oh and Project Runway that I watched with my mom, I still don't know why. And on the 23rd my friend Karen from the Spanish group married Greg. I went to there wedding at Groton hall. It was really beautiful, a bi-lingual wedding. And the girls dresses were gorgeous. And karent with her fur coat, was hott.

The next weekend new years. Pretty low key, hung out with K and Vajj. New years hung out with aphten and Brutus, oh and ray was there. Fireworks was cool too. Then at 2am vajj came over for a sleep over. haha. Start off the new year right I guess.

Monday Jan 1st! We had Kenyon family dinner in hartford. It was nice being with the fam and having turkey and vino. Then the kids all went downstairs and played phil's wii. haha. Marsha and Phil got a nintendo wii. Let me tell you that may be the funniest thing i've done all year. I played bowling against my mom, too funny. So up to now, in between wedding stuff, i'm staying at The Huckstables while there in Mexico. Today friday the 5th, running some errands. Then staying at the Biltmore all weekend, and tomorrow kayleigh and brian are getting married. Don't worry story's and pics sooooooon to come...
